Barnes & Noble at RIT

Anna

This Barnes and Noble is next to the RIT campus so they mostly serve to the students who attend there. Of course, Deaf people take up a percentage of the student population there. The staff are trained to work with Deaf customers who stop in to buy text books and school swag. Sometimes on a good day, i'll get a casher who is fluent in ASL and I can easily communicate. Those who don't sign always has a paper and a pen ready.  They have computers set up around the store for directory check ups and to get text-book code/course numbers to refer to the staff who can help you. I've rarely had any problems with finding the books i need.
