Our Mission

deaffriendly.com believes in the vision that deaf, deaf-blind, hard of hearing and hearing individuals can thrive together in the world. We encourage deaf, deaf-blind and hard of hearing individuals to take ownership in creating an accessible consumer experience while also assisting businesses by giving them the resources they need to become deaf-friendly. We believe in our rights as consumers and recognize deaf-friendly businesses for their commitment. Together, we can create change through advocacy, education and a huge dose of patience.
