Laguna Hills DMV

Joshua

I have a lot to say about this DMV office. First of all, I want to give all DMV employees I encountered big shout out for being so deaf-friendly! They all are very thoughtful when they realized that I am Deaf and have my fiance with me to interpret for us. I like that DMV office made it easy for Deaf/Hard of hearing people to make an appointment via online instead calling the office.

I have a several issues with this DMV office:

-Orange County has more than three milllon people and only have two DMV offices (that I know of). This DMV office is very overcrowded and unable to keep up with the demands. It is time for Orange County to open few new DMV offices to keep up with the demands.

- This DMV offcie technology is very outdated which slowed down their system and making people wait much longer. They should update their technology to make it easier and efficient for everyone.

- This DMV office need to improve the layout to make it more clear for people to see where go for appointment or non-appointment lines and make it flow instead becoming more and more overcrowded.

- They needs to improve the number announcement banners on all the sides so we, Deaf/Hard of hearing people can be aware when it become our turn for our appointments.

-They need to hire more people to help existing DMV employees to speed up the process and reduce waiting time for people. For example, when my fiance and I take our picture taken, this employee has to do double shift such as doing the photos and grade writing tests at around same time. That made waiting line long and much longer.
