Naidre's is a Park Slope cafe with a devoted following. Excellent breakfast dishes, sandwiches, and salads are served all day long, with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available. They also have a rotating selection of locally-baked goods, again with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available. Their organic fair-trade coffee is some of the best around, and monthly specials are featured. Free wifi is standard. Naidre's baristas are chill, low-key people who know the regulars by name and remember their usual orders. Some of the baristas know a little bit of ASL and aren't afraid to use it; they're also good about eye contact and speaking slowly and clearly. Although their entire menu is on a big blackboard on the wall behind the counter, they also have takeaway paper menus at the counter which are handy for pointing at items you'd like to order. Their daily specials are written on a small backboard that's right by the register; ordering something that's not on the usual menu becomes a trivial matter. And, if you're eating there, they bring orders out patrons, so no need to worry about missing your name or number being called. Naidre's gets bonus points for being family- and queer-friendly, as well.
