This is one of the few vegan-only restaurants in Denver a stone's throw away from my apartment. It originated as a vegetarian restaurant then made the switch to the vegan-only restaurant. We stopped going there after the switch due to a different chef, different menu and overpriced items and service declining (long wait and rude staff). We hadn't been there in a while until recently we saw a menu changed again and saw some familiar things were brought back, so my husband and I decided to give it another chance. We went, and my, I felt like we got our "restaurant" that we were loyal to back. The waitress was awesome and so friendly, and the dishes were so much better than before (I assume they hired a different chef again). I wish I got the waitress' name (I'm working on that next time I go out-documenting the names of the staff so they can be properly recognized), but she was so nice and upbeat and didn't mind us signing. She understood our communication needs and didn't flinch. She wrote down what she wanted to say when necessary and clarified by pointing things at the menu. When we paid, she gave us a *high five*! :) I look forward to going back again especially since it's so close to home, and I'm thrilled that they've improved. I remember coming here before, and they had a hostess who knew sign language. I'm not sure if she's still there.
