Blue Moon Burgers Capitol Hill

Kate

This is probably my 3rd time eating at this location in Capitol Hill (Seattle). My deaf friend and I dined there on 10/30/14 for lunch and we were blown away by the service that we received. Doug was acting as the cashier (he took orders) and he helped deliver the food at the same time. When we placed our order (I wrote down the order), he immediately wrote down how much it cost because the total amount was not visible. We didn't even have to ask him to write down; he knew what to do. Makes me wonder if he has had Deaf/Hard of Hearing customers before because he seemed to handle this with ease. Once I paid, he signed "thank you" to us as we walked over to find a table. The "Hangover Burger" with sweet fries order arrived and it was delicious as usual; when we left, he turned around and signed "thank you!" again to us as we waved/signed "thank you!" to him. I give this place a big thumbs up and am returning back again someday.

P.S. I did not click onto the "Knows ASL" box because I wasn't sure if Doug knew ASL other than how to sign "thank you". But he was VERY friendly and nice; provided excellent customer service.
