Stevens Pass Ski Resort

deafREVIEWer

First, a skiing resort wouldn't be right smack in the middle of downtown Seattle as the map suggests, so it is around two hours Northeast of there. While it isn't Seattle, a lot of people from Seattle ski there, so why not put in a review for this skiing place? I visited Stevens Pass Ski Resort for the first time about a month ago and then again last Friday. They offer a free pass for a companion as long as the companion skis with the deaf skier, which is a great discount! When I visited the front desk to get the lift tickets, the woman, who happened to be the same one both times, was friendly and seems to understand how to communicate with me. I know of so many deaf friends who do ski there, so I couldn't help but believe that she has had experienced providing service to deaf people thus being patient, friendly, willing to write on paper, and so forth. Great customer service!
