Food is clearly written on the ordering board hung above the register where you order. No table side waiter service. Fairly simple menu/not a lot of room for misunderstanding. Lines are long. Biscuits are hot. Ipad register with the ability to swing around/see the amount/sign/add the tip.
Staff are a little cranky during the rush (it's really busy on the weekends again, long lines), but they're much nicer during the week. I'd prepare to have my order written out or typed out and handed to them if it's busy. Otherwise they seem willing to gesture/take their time to communicate. Great eye contact either way. Their easy ordering/payment system makes the occasional rush hour crankies tolerable.
Wonderful Deaf-Blind/Deaf-friendly customer service and great, easy-going staff; good food, but will return due to their service excellence. Serves coffee too, even late at night! Gave picture, visual-friendly menu, waiter showed the written order to confirm before placing it (AWESOME!), showed bill on iPad (signed bill and added tip, too), well-lit atmosphere, and patient staff!
The omnivores got their meat fill with Meaty Bitchwich, the sugar allotment for a year was satisfied by their scrumptious Banana Nutella, and hunger satisfied by a vegan mushroom gravy covering an egg and bacon biscuit sandwich. All of their biscuits were higher and fluffier than I'd ever encountered. Where could you find a vegan gravy covering a gluten free biscuit at 2am, meanwhile still being warm, edible, and divine? The food is worth another visit, but their service humor and warm, inviting venue is a reason alone to make the drive from far away.
