My friends and I went to this Bell town bar as a part of a St. Patrick's day special event. This was the only bar out of all the choices we had that was friendly and approachable. (I'm guessing bartenders do have a love-hate relationship with this holiday.) The waitress we had was nice and worked with us through a paper and pen even though it was crowded and busy. Then later we moved to the bar and there was one bartender working there and he was friendly, saw that we were signing. He decided to join in and learned a few words and phases from us, including "more drinks?" and "do you like dancing?". We ended up staying at that bar longer than expected, and we had a full conversation between us and the bartender, which is unusual for a busy bar. The same bartender demanded that we come back.
I go to Rancho Bravo Tacos often for best cheap Mexican food. Every time I go there, I informed them that I am deaf and they immediately grabbed the paper and pen to ready to communicate with me. I order food and drink there and when they have some questions about my order so they always write it down to make sure they get my orders right. Many times when I wait for my order, they usually shout out people's order number or names but they always wave at me to let me know that my order is ready to pick up. That is really thoughtful of them. One time they made little mistake on my order and I informed them about that and they made it right immediately. That is excellent customer service! I recommend this place if you love Mexican food. :)
